meade916
well the tahoe went in for body work after i got rear ended last week and this whole week i had a rental......it was a 2008 Nissan Altima Hybrid. Thats right, i was blowing corn-oil out of the tailpipe (j/k it doesnt work like that but thats how i picture hyrbrids for some reason ) Anyway, I have to say its actually a nice car. Its quiet, its pretty fast and gets AWESOME gas mileage! I put 25$ in it on monday and it lasted me all week and still had more gas in it when i turned it in then it had when i got it. Kinda a trippy little car, you use no key. Keep the alarm remote in your pocket and thats it just push a button and go.....its electric when you first put it in gear and take off so its ultra quite. I actually liked it....im used to a V8 with dual exaust and flowmasters so it was a nice change to just "glide" down the street. Also, this car doesnt look like a Hybrid, it looks like a normal Altema. Over the past week i seemed to notice about a million hybrids on the road just because i was in one but this one looked the best from what i saw. The others had that retarded back fender that goes down to the ground.......totally gay. Also the toyota one i saw didnt have that but it kinda looked goofy to me. This one, if you peeled the Hyrbrid badge off, you wouldnt know it was a hybrid. Anyway, i dont know how this car is in the long term and reliability, i dont know the price (30k maybe?), and i really dont want to know what the cost of a repair would be 10 years from now when its out of warranty........but my little mini review, so far im giving this car two thumbs up. meade916
nahh no hybrid tahoes.......they did have tahoes though and i shoulda got one but i agreed to a mid sized car (thru the other persons insurance) because i didnt care, i just wanted to get to work and not have to take transportation from the wife by taking our F150. so they almost gave me a PT Cruiser and when i asked them if that was a bus stop out front cuz id rather do that, they said ok you can take tha Altima......i was like OK Seriously, its not a bad car, dont let the Hybrid part fool you. heres a link. http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/hot_li..._hybrid_feature Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! trainman0978
Nissan has come along way in the past5-6 years. My buddy has the Altima SE with everything , And I mean everything in it. I would say for what he paid for it he got a better dollar for dollar for out of it than buying a Lexus IS 350 would have got him. I have driven both of these extensively, and the altima is just way more bang for ya buck. And the push button start is awesome. Did that car have the shiftless transmission? I love it, my girl has it in her versa as well, and it makes both cars crazy smooth cruising thru town... Quote 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser Voo Doo Blue my upgrades and "build" thread.
