Anybody can build a box and throw it in there, but to make it all look clean and make it look like it belongs takes a lot of skill. Definitely taking some pointers from this build for mine. meade916 Posted June 1, 2015 Report Share Posted June 1, 2015 Hate to say it from a previous Pontiac Grand AM owner the subs are firing the wrong direction for the best sound quality! I have had from 10's to 15's in my 98 Grand Am over 9 years and tried various different directions and the subs facing towards the trunk always gave the best bass and sound quality! Have used Ported, Sealed & Bandpass boxes and all self installed! I might be a so called Shade Tree installer, but i know my stuff when it comes to sound quality! should have sealed off the baffle from the trunk. The results would have been different.
