Soundstream Labs Terantula 3000 watt legit? SSL Legit across the board?

Looking to purchase a new amp. Something in the 2500-4K RMS range. Still kind of new to all this, but I do have some knowledge. I've been in car audio for close to 15 years now, but nothing serious like most of you. Now that I have a good job, house, wife, and such, I can now spend expendable income on a nice system. I would love to do mid to high 140's, possibly 150 from trunk, if possible. Anyway, blah blah blah...

I was pretty much dead set on buying at least one SQ Q2200.1 (possibly another one in the future) or just putting up the money for a Q3500.1 until I ran across Soundstream. They seem to have an iffy reputation from what I've read about them. I was thinking about buying the Terantula Ta1-3000d. I don't plan to run this at .5 ohm, but rather at 1 ohm on (2) HDS12's.... Maybe Sundown SA-12's... Still not sure on the subs. That's another topic...

As far as electrical goes, I already have a Mechman 240a HO alt installed, I will be buying 2 Odyssey or Die Hard Platinum Group 34 AGM's to support. Looking at various mfg's of 1/0 OFC wire and will probably do 2 runs if the budget allows.

Any advise or insight on the Soundstream line of amps? Anything will be greatly appreciated...

I run a Rubicon 2500, I know it doesn't do rated power but I didn't expect it to. I would get a soundqubed 2200 if I were you. Soundstream Amps get super hot after about 30 mins of full blast.

Thats alot of power to put on two 600 watt rated subs. Anyway the q3500 is a much better amp than any soundstream amp. I don't think I've ever seen a complaint about the aq/sq 3500.

I've gotten a blowjob and picked up my iphone behind her back to see what email notification I got from smd before

Yeah, I know it's a lot of power for to SA-12's, but if it doesn't do rated at .5 ohm, then what's it going to do at 1 ohm? I figure I could dial the amp down and have something leftover over for a future build. Just looking for some advise on the amp/s... If they run hot after 30-hr, then I think I will prolly stay away. I am on the road a ton, as my job requires it, so unless I install a kill switch, the amp will sit there and get hotter and hotter. I don't like the sound of that... Thanks for the info! Think I will stick with my original plans...

Also, the highest voltage my amp/s will ever see is going to be 13.6. I can thank Toyota and the computer regulated voltage crap they put on their cars now. Lord knows I need that extra 2 miles a gallon! lol It is what it is... So, I usually have to buy bigger than what I think I need to get the power I want to the subs.

Thanks for the input guys... i kinda figured the Soundstream would put out decent power, but as far as clean power, SoundQubed will be king. I suppose back to the original plan of a Q2200.1 on (2) HDS3 12's.... I think I can hit mid 140's with those and that is my goal for now...

If I can get a tid bit more advise, what would be the proper Vb and tuning for the HDS3 12's? I need to pay attention to space as much as possible, so thinking common box, (2) 4" aero's. Really, I guess what i'm asking is, how much space do those subs like? I heard they require a little more than your typical 12. Will 4c/ft after port and other displacement/bracing, etc be enough?

If someone wants to help out, I forgot to mention that I listen to rap, dubstep, electronic, alternative, etc... I suspect 34hz should be good? Or lower, say 31-32?
