Excessive voltage drop

Recommended Posts

Huh?

Kept you above 14v on your tack, and stayed at low 12 at start, and never over 12.4.....

Your not even charging... Unless turn on is something.

What dows above 14 on your tach mean?

My sentiment exactly ...

Tach (tachometer) is for engine speed, Sir.

You just confused a bunch of folks who might have thought they had a grip on the issue(s).

i guess im a tard, cuz, like you, im lost.....

The volt meter on the dash cluster... The front battery and alt ARE charging but I am getting no charge at my rear battery. Both amps are also at low voltage, only front battery is running 14v.

Well I fixed that problem... Then it worked GREAT to work, but on my way home I'm steady and not charging at 12.6. So the problem is not the alt its my car... I am stumped on ideas unless my PCM is telling my alt not charge.
