CJ18
Amp should be irrelevant. If anything a larger amp would probably yield larger differences.
oldsoundguy
I though you already did testing like this? What happened to that thread and the vids from that test? I remember you did testing on the amp dyno and showed an improvement in Watts over bare wires. 80prs Arc Audio Xdi 1200.6 (using active crossovers) Freaking awesome amplifier Incriminator IA 10.1 Focal PS 130v 5.25 (doors) 4" Faital pro Neo (kick panels) 3" Faital pro Neo and focal tweets( dash) DC Audio level 3 12" custom box designed by joex built by me AGM front, XS 750SE batteries rear DC 180 alt 99 Toyota Tacoma extra cab http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179476-my-small-build-turned-into-the-ongoing-build/

Wicks
FWIW Contact area was my main hesitation with getting the adapters. After getting a set and using them for a while...I haven't seen any increase in voltage drop whatsoever. PS The "skin effect" only applies to AC current. will77530
so have a large chunk of copper and a spot the size of a penny is making contact or you have another chunk where a spot the size of a dollar is making contact which is better
sprkn_ranger
Yea I thought I remember seeing a vid about this already. Anyways, I think any difference, weather it be better or worse, would be so small it wouldn't have much impact on the final results. If anything, it would just simplify the install and give a cleaner result with less effort. Plus its not like they are real expensive. 80prs Arc Audio Xdi 1200.6 (using active crossovers) Freaking awesome amplifier Incriminator IA 10.1 Focal PS 130v 5.25 (doors) 4" Faital pro Neo (kick panels) 3" Faital pro Neo and focal tweets( dash) DC Audio level 3 12" custom box designed by joex built by me AGM front, XS 750SE batteries rear DC 180 alt 99 Toyota Tacoma extra cab http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179476-my-small-build-turned-into-the-ongoing-build/
