Why use 1/0 to 1/0 AMp Inputs?

Recommended Posts

I personally think the inputs are just for cosmetic purposes. Would I use them? Sure just because they look neat

I agree, cosmetic and to make it much easier for anyone who swaps amps frequently. I like how clean they look though. My only question is the aspect of how better power transfer is achieved with the addition of more resistance via a less conductive metal and possibly less contact area...?

I very HIGHLY doubt placing a piece of aluminum over Copper wire improves power transfer as Copper is a far better conductor than aluminum. It kind of brings to mind a very similar product\situation.....Copper Clad Aluminum Wire. Sure it does look nice. Will they be offered in Copper?

that small of a transfer isn't even worth measuring. my only thought is they Would seem like it would be easier to get ripped out. the terminal screw doesn't look like it has much to bite into. but if your securing your amp the correct way it really doesn't matter.

Toolmaker will custom make any of them in copper but they cost more.

LOVE mine!

SOOO much easier to take the amp out and reinstall cleanly and easily.

Worth every penny.

I HATED twisting the frayed wires over and over so that they fit in the terminals....

they need to make them for speaker wire inputs. That would be over the top lol
