Why did you build the baffle sooo thick and then the leave the part you screw into only 3/4" ? I say this because when using heavy subwoofers they can rip the screws through the wood. The baffle is screwed to the sides and top, the sides and top are 1.5 inchs plus 2x4s. its two sheets of 3/4 and 2x4s. it will be screwed from the inside and out. I also plan on putting in a threaded rod from the front baffle to the back wall.
