CheddaMac5150
Hey everyone I have a quick question regarding what I should be feeding my SQ 2200D. This amp is going in my 98' Merc. it has a stock 105 amp alt, and a fairly new duralast batt. I would like eveyones suggestions on what I should do. My question is If I install a HO alt with a Legit battery up front, would an accessory battery be necessary? And if so, what ampere alt would you suggest, and what cca battery would you suggest? Your input is appreciated!!! Nathan @ XSpower
Your battery is a group 40R stock. Maybe able to run a D4800 depending on the height clearance you have. Stock alt, proper wiring, and a good front battery and you should be ok for daily use.
