I'm an Xbox fan, simply because I can't afford both consoles, so I'm forced to choose a side (one I'm so used to after all these years still ). i realize not everyone is lucky enough to have both...i got no prob taking sides or people who do it. It's the people who go to straight up war over it and never even owned/played both that are annoying. After that year is up I think you will see another Football game on PC.. hopefully. I had an earlier lcd model and spent so much time fucking with it to get the picture right I said no more sharps. Took it out of the box and every white person had a sunburn musta got a bad one. I have owned multiples of every major brand and i currently have a 70 and 80" Sharp. The 80 is the new Q+ so its nicer. Blue Ray in upscaled 4k looks breathtaking (for not being true 4k). The Sharps are both better then all my previous have ever been. IMO anyway. The Samsung 55" in my room is damn nice but without seeing the same model in larger size it is hard for me to form an apples to apples opinion. My LG's always looked good but i had some reliability issues. The 4k tvs are crazy. I really stood there for a while thinking about it even with the cost. JOE_BASS Posted May 10, 2014 Report Share Posted May 10, 2014 I thought 4k was realistically a year or two off from being mainstream. So the latest TV purchase was last april and I scored me an LG Hecto. Pretty pleased with it so far. The room light control wasnt an issue for the longest time but it seems lately that my screen washes out when the sun peers in the patio doors in the dining area...I have mirrors opposite that reflect off the screen at certain times of the day but I remedied that with heavier drapes.
