I assume the passive you are using was designed for all 4 ohm, depending on how you wire the 8" it wont show 4 ohm. That different load will change the xover point in the passive. This is also assuming that the tweeter and the mid are also 4 ohm. The BA passive was designed for the drivers, not sure the passive you picked up will work? Honestly if you are going through the trouble of doing a 3 way in a door, go active it will save you a bunch of headache in the end. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
pickup1 Posted May 18, 2014 Report Share Posted May 18, 2014 Like he said,when you attach a pair of drivers(speakers),to a single terminal of the passive crossover, it changes the frequency.
