i hear what you are saying..they are all nice but have their differences. The 800 is weak... the 900 is badasssss......the 1000 is even better. But it is like $4000 more then the 900. I needed to get a trailer so with that i was right in my budget. Actually i was already over my budget but the deal i got i couldn't turn down.

Not sure how violent you will be with your kids in it, but those things don't take long distance rolls too exceptionally well.

With your welding abilities, I highly recommend you remake the top cage with some thicker stuff to keep your noggin safe.

They even have some great bracing on the front and rear to make a full exo, while still maintaining the bolt-on cage.

Even the stock bolt-on tabs can be cut and reused.

But this is Steve Meade designs, I don't need to tell you how to do things haha

not gonna ride it like a jackass...my overly aggressive days (offroad) are over. At my age, getting hurt hurts WAY more then it used to and takes longer to recover from. I will prob upgrade it in the future because there is so much you can buy for it but i wouldn't put the word "violent" and "my kids" in the same sentence....cuz that aint happening.

Even at my age, I don't WANT to wreck haha

And violent isn't usually planned offroad, but it is good to be prepared for when it may happen.

I have never wanted to flip offroad, but I have.

Then again, sand is no comparison to mud.
