Finally done with the battery terminals...now what to do next? Run the wires? Install the new HU? Start on the door panels? Man....so much on the to do list...

My vote is for HU install. I am a rookie and have the same headunit I want to put in my 2007 yukon. It is just a little too deep for the space in the dash. Im curious how you make it fit as I am a rookie and am looking for tips.

I'm working on my door panels right now but I'll do that next...but I currently have a double din in right now....I had to cut away a few plastic pieces behind it...actually I think I cut all the plastic off back there, I can't remember. I have to take a look at it. I had to find room to place the adapter that retains all the factory sounds and the steering wheel controls...I put them below the HU behind the ac controls...hopefully you bought one...cus if not you lose all the factory sounds like in the door chimes and turn signals...but I'll take some pics 2moro...

What adapter did you use?

I have the OS-4 but I had to buy the steering wheel control adapter separately. The one below it comes with it so you don't have to buy one, I bought mine about 3 years ago so IMO...they are pretty expensive...pac-audio.com

Okay I'm in Viper and I drive it almost every day to work. If you want to get a demo hit me up on Thursday cause I'm suppose to be meeting up with some other SMD members to give them a demo also
