took my welding rod and pulled the door lock on the top of the trim panel up. pried the door apart a little and stuck it in there. It was pretty great.

The best thing to do is call a locksmith and have them come out and pick the lock. If you dont they'll have to pry the top frame of the window outwards and then try to unlock the door through the gap. Most chances are in those cars, they'll bend the top of the door and it's a pain in the ass to reset and have it look right again.

Not the correct way, depends on the model though. I'm assuming that it's an Eldorado or one of it's variants.

Also I don't think you can pick door locks on older 2 key GMs due to the way they are designed.

Not getting any more specific for confidentiality reasons.

Edit: I know I'm a bit late on this, but that advice bugged me lol
