So a day or 2 ago, i finally started the dash. As you might know by now, i am putting in an Ipad Mini. I got the "side-slider" kit from Doug at Soundman http://www.Soundmanca.com . I am JUST now at a point where i will show the progress as i wasn't sure at first how it would go. Normally i don't like to show "in progress" fabrication just in case i decide not to do it that way and scrap the project. Usually once it gets to the primered stage, i am ready to let people see it. This was a LOT of work so be kind...it needs another few hours of sanding and of course a paint job. It is still rough but you should get the idea where i am going with it by the time you get to the bottom :D

Of course, before i even started, i had to address what to do with all the switches and sockets that were on the stock dash. Time to relocate.

It's 90 right now. It will be 100 this weekend. It was 106 2 weeks ago and cooled down a bit. Sorry "Stormin' Normin'" i didn't realize it wasn't hot enough to call hot. lmao. :roflmao:
