Sick as usual! Your mind never seems to lack creativity.

How are the pods mounted to the floor?

thanks!

they aren't mounted to the floor. They are mounted above the floor. I used 1/2" x 1" 1/4 Bolts with some fat fender washers (2 per). Rode all day and put this shit to the test...performed perfectly! It's so loud its so clean..SOLID! Had my foot under it using it as a brace...no problem.

so all is good. Didn't barely get a spec of dust on the speakers either. Nor the amps for that matter.

I love how this thing turned out bro... Clean as hell as usual... I also liked seeing how clean the recess lip you created came out for mounting the speakers ... :good:

I apologize if I skipped over a post where you answered this but how are you going to keep all the electronics clean if you are offroading with it... Just curious :)

Man would I love to have the money/connections to get all the speakers and amps you have, I would be constantly messing with new projects.

Keep doing all your kickass stuff and continue to be original!

As you can see, dirt, dust and sand can get inside the gap of the T5...which isn't a problem in a car. But in the dunes, it might be. I am MORE worried about sand then water LOL . Anyway, the T3 has a closed cone so it should do a lot better in this environment. Sure wish i could keep running the T5's though!

As you can plainly see, the pods are NOT on the ground but rather up in the air a few inches. You can actually put your foot right under them and brace yourself pretty nicely if you need to. The pods are super solid and bolted in strong...and with the bedliner they are just fine :)

Ok here is the fun part. As you might know, if you paid attention :D, i tossed in my old Rockford Fosgate I-Beam Transducers. They are mounted to the back of the driver and passenger seats. Even with NO woofer at all, these things make my door speakers feel like they are pounding! Anyway, they feel good so i am leaving them in to HELP with the subwoofer response when the box is done. I know it is hard to get good bass in a wide open area so this will help. It really does make the system sound like it has a woofer even before the woofer! These aren't "bass shakers" they are on a totally different level (the I-beams). Anyway, i decided i did NOT want the I-beams to share an amp with the woofers since they will probably chew up the entire 500w sub amp all by themselves...so what should i do? Yup, grabbed another T500.1, moved the 3sixty.3 up, and dropped it in.

Well, channels 5 and 6 on the 3sixty.3 were wide open, nothing on them....now those channels are dedicated to my I-beams. Full control over everything! Rockford style! :)

Been to Prairie City a few times but it gets boring out there fast. Took it to Sugar Pine and got kicked out. Took it to Sly park to about 5 different spots in the woods and that was FUN..BUT we need a trail map or you gonna read about me on the news all lost in the forest :D I'm always scared i won't find my way back.
