Polaris RZR-4 900 Turbo - Sound system and Mods - Update: New Seats!! Rockford Fosgate I-Beam Bracket Fabbed Pg. 30

So is this new t400.4 supposed to replace the older t400.4 or just a new amp there brining out?

That's why they don't deliver.

Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait.

You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start :D

I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

Good question. I'd also like to know this. Anyone have info?

Thanks alaskanzx5 I might just do that
I can recone a sub myself. About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows

came to this thread to recommend soundqubed and ct sounds. OP goes with soundstream.

oh lawd.

OK one question about the batteries, why on there sides? I mean it looks like you had enough room to place them normally, and won't that cause a issue with leg room if sideways or a lil issue?

First blown belt and you may end up regretting the decision to mount the amps there. Also the clutch system generates a ton of heat In that area. So much m fact that there's cooler kits on the market to try and help keep belt temps down so they don't overheat and catch fire.

FYI if you take the front fenders off you'll find a ton of room above the tube the steering column is welded too.

Nice work regardless!

the entire piece it is mounted on still comes off and has plenty of slack to lay it out of the way. Are you sure you are familiar with the RZR? I didn't see any belt there. There is a fuel tank, a big open area directly below and the engine behind it. Even if it does get hot in there, why would i be concerned? I didn't mount anything inside of that area. Not sure what you are talking about with the front fenders, or why. I'm lost on that. I don't need room for anything else, im already done.

My bad man. Didnt know they changed the belt location on the xp's. on the 800 I have the belt housing is behind the seats.

Steve is wasting no time on this thing. I saw it out in front of his shop today and hes almost got the forms built for the speakers he is putting in on the floors in the front. This thing is sweet, I'm def interested in seeing how this bad boy turns out. Steve was covered in saw dust so I dont think it will be too long. Thanks for being cool too Steve, nice build!

The plan is Rockford Fosgate T3 Separates. The reason, they are AWESOME speakers AND the material they are made of will not be damaged by a little bit of water, if they get wet. I was going to use the RF Pro's but i wasn't sure about the paper cone. Either way, before you ask, there WILL be a protective grill over these. You will see in future pics when i get to that point. I plan on doing the outside in a bedliner to match the ABS plastic on the RZR. Then, i am thinking an orange grill insert to give it some contrast. I also plan on fabbing a removable slip-cover for these so if i know they are getting wet, from riding or washing out, they will be protected. For the most part, i don't plan on getting wet. This is going to the SAND. A little water won't hurt as i don't plan on being deep enough to ever do damage.

so here is the pics SO FAR.

It always starts out on cardboard. Fedex boxes make nice templates :D

oh, my RF T3's aren't here yet so i have to use my spare T5's for reference till they get here. Probably tomorrow, i hope!

With the glove box on the passenger side, i couldn't put the pods up as high as i wanted to. I could do the driver side a lot higher but it wouldn't be even and that would drive me NUTS.
