I have really got to get some of that sunflash before I attempt my doors. That has got to be handy being able to hold it in place while it sets up.

Looking nice steve, glad to see the box worked out better ; )

MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..."

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.

Man, I haven't been on this site in a minute. Forgot how pleasant it is to watch a nice quality build like this come together.

The box is really looking damn nice. The angles and everything flow perfectly with the RZR. Really impressive (I'd expect nothing less though, eh?)

Steve, dope build as always. I'm pretty surprised Craftsman hasn't sponsored you by now and put you in a commercial as "the ultimate craftsman" or something lol. Also, purely out of my curiosity, why did you go with a 6th and then 4th order rather than just a ported box? I know you have a reason, but knowing as little as I do about how being in open air changes things, I would have thought a ported box would be best in order to have maximum air displacement through the larger area of the woofer cone. Anyone else please feel free to chime in, just trying to admire some beautiful work and learn a thing or two :) keep it up steve!

masterbation is free, and even saves you money.sorry but someone had to say it

sorry, Jimmy...beat you to it (no pun intended)

LOLDON'T get a wife. Best advice I never got, and now it's too late <_<

My build: 12" DCON in a dorm room.

New/current build: 8" woofer, custom amplifier block, fiberglassed speaker pods

the trim work is looking siiiick! Keep it up man!

Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are!

I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating!

My build log: 10k center console with 4 DC Audio XL 10's powered by 2 DC Audio 5.0k amps 5 xs batteries and dual DC Power 300xps alts

Hey Steve how much does 1 quart of this sunflash stuff does it cover up like cubic feet wise lol

That's why they don't deliver.

Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait.

You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start :D

I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

Steve you should also get a rear glass. If not you will get dust swirling in from behind. Looking sweet though. I have a '12 XP4 900 with "a few" accessories.

no i won't. It's why i got the Cool Flo windshield. It is specifically designed to stop that. You are right though but not in this case. Thanks!

its only a little bit better. Still sucks in the open air but with the I-beams it is real nice. Both my designs would have been great in a CAR. Thanks!

Protecting the woofers is a priority. A properly built (key word properly built) BP will trounce on a standard ported box in output so it wasn't a hard decision. Plus i could force all the bass in between the seats like this.

thanks a lot!
