audiofanaticz Posted January 20, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 20, 2015 While they are not the strongest amps out their in terms of power, they are heavily reliable, even at low impedance's daily on music. They will play at 9volts (actually lower when I loaned 2 to a friend for his burp crx), and all the way over 18volts.They are tanks and because of that its hard to upgrade to newer amps. Just because Im afraid of getting something that wont like what I wire mine too and go protect happy, or may let out the magic smoke. That was my main reason why I didnt go with NS-1s when I had a golden opportunity and a golden price, I wanted to see how others used and abused them and how they took that abuse. They dont, same capacitors in the DC 5.0ks too.
