Like I said adding a REGULAR CAR BATTERY has MAJOR RISK . And you can add as many batteries as you would like . yes your factory can charge 2 maybe 3 batteries and have no problem . But you will still see major voltage drops and possibly damage your equipment or parts . IMO 6 batteries may help , but OHMS LAW says otherwise.

No 1 But me paid for this stuff and NO FREEBIES so no brand names (No Free Advertisement )

A SQ head unit

ill say it like i always say it. F##K the DD-1. I don't care if you or anyone buys one. (well i do, but that isn't my point) Get an O-scope in the very minimum and learn how to use it or you are just guessing your settings like every other noob. :) once you master the O-scope then step up to a DD-1 or even better a DD-1 Plus.

just sayin..... been running 4 total (including under hood) lead acid batteries in my hatch on a stock 80a alt for well over a year in a half no problem. vented outside of course, im easily over 1000 rms with power hungry amps. no voltage drop at full tilt for quite awhile driving time. never had an issue. yea they arent made for charge/discharge cycles like I use them for......BUT they work and HAVE been working for quite awhile considering i almost NEVER top them off. charging @ 14.6v cold and 14.3v hot.

not the most ideal batt setup but it does work......

edit: i know im not pulling alot of current from my alt but its definitly over 80 amps. OH and had almost no voltage drop with 2 batteries. i added more to play longer with NO drop

i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it

Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit. If I had a whole Hertz front stage my ears would jizz all over my cheeks.

I have been running 3 of the Napa AGM batteries in my 2 systems. They are around $150ish. Next cheapest for an AGM would probably be optima. There might be others but the safest thing for inside the vehicle is AGM. And if you put 1 AGM in the mix, it is best to make them all AGM.

Several systems, several vehicles. Always changing!
