sprkn_ranger
I noticed a difference when I did the passenger door, so I'm looking forward to getting some more bracing and deadener done. I haven't even done any sealing around where the box meets the cutout so I kinda expect that to make pretty good difference. magillaru
You could also weld some metal bracing to the roof and put up a wood ceiling.......that would get you some good results. But roof and back wall would be my next choices Deadened the inner skin only so far and just on the passenger door (got lazy after the one door lol) and there isn't really much back wall left due to the cut out...I really need to add some bracing to that though, it flexes like crazy. Lol I'm nowhere near that loud to warrant the need for that overkill. dangaranga
You need to deaden the outer door skin dude, I got a layer of deadener and a layer of acoustic foam and it is really solid now not the prettiest thing but you get the idea Brandon 2000 Furd Ranger supercab 4x4 System: welding wire throughout the truck USalts 390amp Hairpin Juicebox in stock location 8 Banks of maxwell supercaps 2 American Bass Vfl 1100.1 wired to .35 each 2 Fi Audio Sp4 18's ( the DD sc 9918's smoked) Pioneer radio with Soundstream PA mids Powered by a nice sized soundstream 2 channel It's pronounced (dain-ja rain-ja) 2001 2 door focus 1 DD9918 SC
sprkn_ranger
I am eventually going to do 100% cover on the doors and the whole cab, but for right now I had acquired a few sheets and wanted to hit some key areas. I thought the inner skin would yield better results than the outer skin...maybe I was wrong? dangaranga
They are both great areas to do. I need to do the inner skins on mine. Either way you can't go wrong though. I'd tackle that back wall first since you did the inner already.
