I hate to ask for more since you've already spent all that time and resources, but do you have anything about 4th orders concerning the subs? The HDC3 and 4 have very stiff suspension and generally don't perform very well in a 4th order configuration, now they do pretty well in a 6th order. What adjustments should I do to the box. Current box is at 4 cubes with 17 sq inches per cube. CleanSierra Posted July 4, 2014 Report Share Posted July 4, 2014 You're at the limit on the copper coil at this point. There's no need to run that amp at half ohm to that sub, you're just gonna convert the energy to excess heart that the sub can't do anything with. That amp well put out wire a bit at half ohm and way too much for that single sub. If it were an HDC4 you could get away with it. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
