Wicks
Rubber CA glue... But as was stated...leave it off. That's a great achievement to knock that thing off. Wouldn't the more appropriate question be: "What glue do you use to put your rear hatch back on...........?" SnowDrifter
Does it not have a set screw that you can tighten? Nope. Subaru mirrors are twist-lock. Theres a little clip in there. Mirror comes off if you twist it 90 degrees either way. You can see if in the video, mirror begins to twist over then it pops out. ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
Rmichael91
I came across this a while back, I've used it to fix a few ipod cords and some other small fixes. It may just work for what your trying to do. It's called Sugru. Its a moldable silicone-like "3d" glue. They've got it in black, multi-color, and black/white combos. 8 and 3 packs. http://sugru.com/buy
mbdblue
those springs inside the mirror button get loose over time.... Actually, if you'd like, I can probably snag you one off a brand new- newer subaru; we usually get one every other day anyway. Just have to get the old button off and glue the new one on.
