even though it's expensive, I say double din with a switched backup camera...hell it'll be walled eventually so you might as well do it now :)

I should also mention I had a professional window shop put my mirror back on, after trying many other adhesives and remedies

It didnt last 2 weeks.

Wouldn't the more appropriate question be: "What glue do you use to put your rear hatch back on...........?"

Nope. Subaru mirrors are twist-lock. Theres a little clip in there. Mirror comes off if you twist it 90 degrees either way. You can see if in the video, mirror begins to twist over then it pops out.

those springs inside the mirror button get loose over time....

Actually, if you'd like, I can probably snag you one off a brand new- newer subaru; we usually get one every other day anyway. Just have to get the old button off and glue the new one on.
