I only have my songs as Mp3 so I cant really test it out. I think its the media player. How do I put everything back to default?

Can't seem to find how to return everything to default on this computers version, as for the files find a cd and rip it in a different format like wav.

CDs are a red book codec, sounds like something got messed up in the files if its playing fine but mp3s aren't.
