Adding a second battery to a 2005 Tahoe

Recommended Posts

I want to add a second battery to my Tahoe right now I have a Xs S3400 as my starter battery with the big 3 wire upgrade on a DC Power Xp 270 alternator there looks to be a spot on the passenger side to fit another battery maybe a xs D3100 would there be some sort of kit to place the battery? Also is a isolator necessary I've heard from different people it is and it's not like I will only need one if I use my system with the truck off witch I am never going to do but if it is necessary please explain why I wanted to do two runs of 0 gauge from each battery.
