LT.Smoke
Im sure that was a bootyhole puckering event. Good thing it didn't fuse solid. I've um heard that happen with wrenches and stuff......i jumped a little but it was the pretty colored spark that caught my attention. No joke, at first i was like damn, 16v batteries make different colored sparks. Then my hand felt hot and i smelt chicken. hhahah.. oh well. Lmfao @ the chicken line HAHAHAHA Quote Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs 👌

_paralyzed_
I used to build battery packs for my r/c cars, and all the bars to link the cells in series are exposed. I threw a battery in my man bag, and went to get in my van. My keys crossed a couple terminals and suddenly smoke was rolling from my man bag. A key was glowing red, solder melted to the key ring and 5 of the 6 cells vented. This was 7.2 volts and a 30 amp capable battery. Low power but I darn near set myself on fire. Electricity is no joke.

Electricity is no joke. Yup ... back in the early-90's I did that to ... Racing Team Associated RC 10L's on the carpet on 6-cell, 1400 & 1700mah personally-matched packs ... My Pop would buy me 20-30 cells & I'd go through them matching & making the packs & I once did not realize that the big heatshrink sleeves the BATTs went in I heated up too much & it split on the side & when I put it in my metal tote track tool box, all Hell broke loose. It damn near welded itself to the drawer I put it in ... I had to grab a rag to open the drawer cuz it was too hot to grab with my hand. The whole box had a little bit of heat that you could feel on it. I was 15 or 16, ... been overly-careful ever since. 1 Quote Zeke '14 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo SS Vehicle Details & Mod List: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/garage/vehicle/1703-chevrolet-monte-carlo-ss/ Audio Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/143276-2003-chevy-monte-carlo-ss-audio-build-ib-build Pioneer FH-P8000BT Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 Fi IB3 (Two 12", 2-ohm SVC) RF T400-2 & T500-1bdCP MechMan S Series 240A XS Power D3400 & D975

kicker8940
Damn you got lucky man. A few years ago i knew guy that was working on a car and he was changing the starter and forgot to unhook the battery,so when he was unhooking the main power wire from the starter he grounded his self out to the frame and it melted his gold wedding ring into his finger. And the only way to get it off was the doctor had to amputate his finger.
philrab
To this day, I take my wedding band off every time. When I was a helicopter mechanic in the Army, someone showed me a picture of a finger stuck on the side of an aircraft. Guy had his band off, was climbing down, got the band caught on the head of a screw, and it took all the skin and meat of his ring finger clean off.
