Max1636 Posted July 21, 2014 Report Share Posted July 21, 2014 Having the biggest first world problem right now I cannot decide on a Digital Designs M3B or a DC Audio 3.5K to run my D2 Fi SP4. Where I'm looking both are nearly the same price please take price completely out of this I'm after an answer just on power/build quality etc. I do see the DD is rated 3800 @ 14v and the DC is rated 3500 @ 14v both at 1 Ohm but the numbers seem close enough that maybe one could be over or underrated realisticly it must be close. The DC Audio 3.5k will do around 3800watts with voltage dropping to mid 13s, and that is backed up on the SMD Amp dyno numerous times in one video and higher at 14volts. Im sure the DC Audio will be a bit cheaper, especially if you buy it from one of their dealers that always offers 5 or 10% promotion codes on the product pretty regularly like droppin hz audio does.
