Phaeton
So im doing a trunk build on my caddy and i was wondering about ports. i was thinking 4.1 sealed and 7 cubes ported. The graph it made in winisd seemed pretty good so i might go for it. Of course i have the best and worst car to do a build, cant fold the seat down so i need to cut holes in my rear deck for the port, so the question is should i do a regular rectangle port / slot port or areo port / pvc tubes? and how much port area? i'll provide some pictures for better understanding what im going to do. the last one is the rear view, since im doing a slanted baffle to make the sp4's fit. tell me if im missing anything that would help. 1997 subaru legacy outback Four 15's in a almost wall Rockford Fosgate t2500-1bdcp Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on tweets Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on highs Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midrange Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midbass Optima Yellow top batteries 270A Singer alt (working on a bracket for a second) Lots of Second Skin

OrionStang
The biggest problem I have with this, is that 4th orders may take a lot of trial and error to get right. Meaning adjusting the sizes of the ported and sealed sides, and port area. If you cut through the deck, how can you adjust port area? If this thing is built in the trunk the way you have it drawn up, how would adjust port length? You basically have one try, and if it sucks, then what? This isnt a very cheap hobby and hey, i get to do something i enjoy. sometimes living out in the country sucks because there is nothing to do. So i have no problem doing something like this over again 6 or 7 times lol. How about that ported box? im guessing it wont work very well eh? 1997 subaru legacy outback Four 15's in a almost wall Rockford Fosgate t2500-1bdcp Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on tweets Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on highs Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midrange Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midbass Optima Yellow top batteries 270A Singer alt (working on a bracket for a second) Lots of Second Skin
