Broke_Audio_Addict
Lotta people hating on burp cars here... Last I checked those take lots of time and energy as well. To each their own I guess... just have some respect I'm not hating I definitely appreciate all the hard work that goes into to it but for me personally I would never build one. Every ones got their cup of tea. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Noel989
As long you do you Does it matter? Are you really a "ground pounder"? you have stated your not satisfied with your numbers so you keep working for that extra tenth. Charger
My last proper build (My troopers 6 DD Audio 15s, two Z2s, eight batteries, clamshell) Was my daily driver. Literally. I drove that SOB everywhere, even driving to work at 5AM, I would crank it. My work buddies would hear it coming for miles and miles in the cold, still mornings. I took it to shows, drove it to get groceries, everything. I never metered it at full volume, ever. When I would take it to shows I would only turn it up enough to win (usually well under 150dB), then I would park it up with the doors open and crank music at full volume. I even slept in overnight it with a buddy of mine at a two day show. Then drove the 500 mile round trip back, don't know how many walled groundpounders have done that. I made it clear from the start, it was never ever about numbers, it was for me to listen to music loudly. A lot of people over here in Australia got angry at the time, 'wasting' all that gear and not doing SPL. Now they're all doing it. I know that S.O.B. cranked though, as did everyone that heard it and now it's kind of an urban legend because I sent that car to the scrapper, nobody will ever know what #s it did. n8ball2013
No you're not alone. My truck isn't a daily but it will probably never hit a meter and it's not played with the windows up either. OrionStang
Kyle, what is the point of this thread? Where is this coming from? Your setup is badass, is a groundpounder, and is done RIGHT (multi-alts over huge bank). Fuck competing and the meter, I know you and I know you go to shows to hang out, so do that. Demo all day, have fun. Get on the meter, but without worrying about tenths at a time. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

I never really did think about about that. That is actually a cool idea... except maybe I would do a 6th order with a response from 20-30 hz. Not sure which would move more air. but its not like i got 30k on tap anyways for 2 big builds LOL 03 Sable LS AA mayhem 12" D2 Sundown ZV4 12" D1 Tantric HD 12" D2 Tantric SHD 12" D1 Sundown X12 V2 D2 2.5 cu net Sundown 2000d @ 1 ohm XS Power XP2000 Sky High Sound Deadener Sky High wire Stock alt
