alaskanzx5
I use 8guage for subs, reason why is less resistance, less power loss, and because I can. the longer the run the more resistance the more resistance the more power loss you have. Your subs see less and less of that power. A long run of small size could potentially get hot, melt and short out. Just move the amp to the trunk and run shorter speaker wire of 12 gauge or bigger. 4g from front to back 4 gauge ground to solid metal all paint cleaned off. look around here on the forum for threads about electrical, tons of great info on here. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
