n8ball2013
I had a cavalier like 10 years ago and I used the side posts. I also ran 5k on them with no issues but that was in my young and dumb days. The top posts are not hte same size. One is ever so slightly smaller than the other. If you try to use the same terminal one will be able to move just enough to be a crappy connection. Its not much and definitely not visible to the naked eye but its there. I've tried it because I was like different size posts. fuck that lets see. Chris Strausbaugh
Thanks. I found the positive and the negative posts. Yeah I wouldn't recommend connecting to the side posts. I've researched it quite a bit and optima says it can damage amps. It actually damaged one of my amps. So I had to find out not to use those the hard way. Chris Strausbaugh
I found this too http://www.ebay.com/itm/Raptor-R4BTRTPG-5-16-Wing-Nut-Out-Positive-Gold-Plated-Battery-Terminal-/160801835516?pt=US_Car_Audio_Video_Connectors_Terminals&vxp=mtr&hash=item25708949fc. Would you go with the ones you have still or this one?
n8ball2013
you can buy those wing nut ones anywhere and they suck. I'd take the ones I have ten times over before those. they work loose on both the wing nuta nd the part that secures them to the terminal.
