I have ordered all component and patiently waiting for them to come in. Below is the list of equipment being used:

Head Unit - Stock, did not want to lose navigation, steering wheel controls or have to modify the dash in anyway

Processor - Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.3

Amp - American Bass SQ 375 for my mids and highs

Amp - American Bass VFL 1880 1D for sub

Sub - American Bass XFL 1222 (wanted a VFL but they did not have an option for dual 2 ohm voice coils to get amp down to 1 Ohm, did not want to run 2 subs due to lack of space and do not want to give up all my trunk space)

Mid Bass - American Bass VFL 65MB

Tweets - American Bass MX 444T

Rear Fill - American Bass SQ6x9

Wire - Sky High Car Audio 1/0

Hopefully start on this project over labor day weekend. This is a daily driver so it may take me a few weekends to get this all completed. I will start posting pics once I get this project underway.

Thanks for looking

Daniels_IMG_0161.JPG

Blue 1/0 - I've run other 1/0 before this stuff is bigger and heavier than any i've ever used!

Daniels_IMG_0162.JPG

Black 1/0

Daniels_IMG_0163.JPG

Shrink tubing for 1/0 power

Daniels_IMG_0164.JPG

Speaker label shrink tubing. Love this, in the past I would use a label maker to make all these. This makes it so much easier to label cables!

Daniels_IMG_0165.JPG

Lugs for the 1/0

Daniels_IMG_0166.JPG

1/0 to 4 gauge adapters. Another idea that I really like. Bought 2 sets before I realized that my American Bass SQ375 does not have this type of power connection. Ohh well have them for the next build.

That's it so far. Should get the rest of the stuff next week. I'm hoping to get this started next weekend but I may have to work.

Received another shipment today!

American Bass VFL 1880 1D - Can't believe how small this thing is. Have no clue how this thing is gonna pump out 1000 watts.

Daniels_IMG_0172.JPG

American Bass SQ375 - Nice looking amp

Daniels_IMG_0173.JPG

American Bass XFL 1222 - I've never owned a sub that weighed this much, 36 lbs! I know there are a lot that are heavier but none that I have ever owned.

That's all for now. Tracking numbers show that there should be more here tomorrow.

I love it so far! My one regret is I wish I would have gotten the Turbo version. The 2.0 has adequate power (160hp) but there are way more mods for the Turbo. Windows were tinted to 20%, Gonna be getting new wheels at some point. Anyway here are a few pics:

So I got some more gear in today! Nice

4 American Bass VFL-65MB

2 Amercian Bass MX-444T

Picture all together

I also got my distribution block and my 8 gauges sub speaker cable (KnuKoncepts). I wanted to stay with all SHCA for cable and distribution but I didn't see on their site of any distribution blocks other than at the battery and they don't offer speaker wire by the foot. didn't need 50' (there minimum). They weren't near me when I was taking these pics so I will include them in the next post.

Plan on doing speaker 6.5" in each door and 5.25" in kick panels. Now my only concern is that I am putting the tweets in factory location in the dash. I hope to get reflection off the windshield to get the staging in the center of the car. Anyone have any opions on this?

Should be getting the RF 3sixty.3 on Monday so I will post more pics.

Til next time.

Also this week I tried my hand at a system diagram. I think it came out pretty good.

Not sure if yours will do the same but just as a heads up you may run into the same issue I did with trying to pull a signal whilst keeping the factory HU. It's not just a tap into the wire and be good. The HU needs to see a 4 ohm signal to output a signal for the processor to see. Let me know if you run into this problem and I can walk you through.
