tburt915
In a 2007 honda accord, I am running a Sundown SAZ2500 with 2 12in FI SSDs. I have a 180a alternator, the big three, a optima yellowtop in the front, and a Shruiken bt60 in the back. All zero gauge wire. When i turn my car on, i see around 13.4-13.8v While playing music it drops down in the mid 12s. Does anyone have any suggestions to raise the voltage? Kyblack76
That really isnt all that bad. Mid 12's is just into your battery. You want more, get a bigger alt. Maybe add a bat or 2 more just for longer play time at the mid 12's. SIDE SHOW
I always suggest running the same batts if your running more than one in a system. i'd prob look at upgrading your rear battery

DTS909
Bigger battery in the back. I got about the same setup as you but in a civic with xs battery's. I clamped my alternator today playing Dream Iluv your girl, pulled 223 amps dropped to low 13s . Forgot I had my headlights on when I was testing so the volts number was a little lower from the headlights.
