Got a Question for you guys!

I have put in TONS of work in on this, and its currently doing 152s which im SUPER happy with, but we are attempting to keep the roof from making too much noise. We started before we built the blowthrough with 3/16ths steel bonded to the roof using panelbond. there is also 3 layers of deadener on the roof. Since we turned on the bass, The steel did not stick and started slapping up against the roof.

My question is, Do you guys think I could get away with like 3 or 4 layers of Sky high deadnener up on the roof and no steel? We are trying to keep this looking factory because its in a 2011 F150, the headliner needs to go back up.

Yes, in the front half of my roof I just have 2 layers of mdk murder mat. It still flexes but is dead silent on the inside

Used to have a loud truck

barbies are still holding it down!

We switched to 2 Crescendo 3500s strapped at .66 and they are doing very well!

We got a 153.2 on music in the kick and 151 at the headrest.

This is a pic of the 153.1 @38 hz, but i have a vid of the 153.2
