I love car audio so much because I will never be done. I can never win, and I will never get it finished or perfect. It always has me coming back for more, I can never get my fill of it, but I get what I need.

So awesome that you guys get to do stuff like this together. One day your son will be showing his son what he learned from you.

You know how you had that nostalgic feeling seeing your grandpa in the Denny's commercial? This project reminds me of when I would help my dad work on cars in our carport when I was a kid. The kind of feeling that money can't buy. Really good stuff going on here.

"proud pappa moment" .. hell yeah bro.

Always know when something has your approval when you give it the "yeah" :)

He should love those T2 components. I love mine, been waiting on a certain company to send mine back to me from warranty for 6 months now.

These father/son project videos are definitely some of my favorite that you've made.

Build turned out real nice. Great father & son bonding time. I was just in CA for a week and really wanted to visit you at your shop but it didnt seem right not having permission to bug you. Your AK Fan.

Hi Steve, I see you used the foam speaker baffles in the doors...do you recommend them? Did you use them to enhance midbass, protect speaker, or both?

He says why right in the video.

Hey Steve (or anyone else who can answer!) What did you attach the ground to? Looks like just chassis. But is there frame directly underneath or is chassis good enough (sanded to bare metal of course)

Very nice build Steve!

I like that you gave him "great equipment", but not the top-of-the-line stuff.

Kinda like buying him a Kawasaki 250EX and not a 1000cc Ninja from the word go!

We all have to start somewhere and appreciate what we have, and see how we can improve upon it down the line.

He did the work, bragging rights allowed,.....you can't take that away from him. That's what's awesome!
