Father and Son Project: 2002 Yukon - Rockford Fosgate Sound System Install - ROUND 2 - NEW Amp Rack installed - FIRED UP! page 23

Recommended Posts

So i only have ONE RF 19" sub...but i plan on putting a lot of power on it soon. Since there is only one, it may not be staying...but the POWER upgrades will. For now, no matter what, we are gonna get to try the 19" on some real power soon. We are EXTREMELY busy at the shop so it may not happen over night. Plus we are currently working on a Toyota Tacoma (Brandon's) too. So it's kinda hit or miss the days we can actually make progress. But products are coming in and we will get started soon! Ill just leave this here for now.

It might seem easier to build when you have a CNC but the fact is, the products i started producing with it are selling so good it is hard to make time to work on what we love the most, our systems!

We are caught up (for the moment) so decided it was time to start upgrading Antheny's yukon.

This is the plan:

(2) Rockford Fosgate T2500.1bdcp

(1) Rockford Fosgate T600.4 on the highs.

(1) Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.3

Woofers will be:

(1) Rockford Fosgate T3 19" (Temporary because it is MINE not his!! haha)

Soon to be:

(4) SMD Mini Series 15" Subs (A T2500.1 per pair).

I want to be able to get him 100% up and running with the new stuff, play with the 19" some more and then just do the woofer swap later and be pain free as possible.

This is where we are at so far.

Designed on scratch paper, input into the computer...cut on the CNC.

What are all the notches around the inside of each panel for? They are to hide small wires and also to tuck LED's in so they cannot be seen. I always TRY to hide the light source when possible. This should make it much easier.

What are all the holes at the bottom for? They are my little way of making this "chamber" universal so i can sell more just like it later. Pull all sorts of wire right into it without the hassle of having to drill new ones every time. They should

not be too noticable when done.

The chamber will be cooled with 6 fans and those fans controlled with an SMD TM-1 (3 stage temp monitor/fan control). There will be a plexi top over this with a logo of some sort on it of course.

Bad ass..

And a very good Idea..

Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born.

My penis is bigger than your penis

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.

i really do enjoy getting him started and then letting him take off with it. He is a fast learner and very picky. I am not doing this FOR him i am doing it WITH him and he for sure is a chip off the ol' block. This is always super fun for me.

Sweet! Knew this was coming.

That 19 box make the yukon look small...just like it did the van.

Good to see father and son work on things, especially things you both enjoy.
