Masterbasser
Of course you would know more about what Im thinking then I do, lol I was going to go with excessive amperage model which was also a great deal but its not putting out as much at idle and I have read some mixed things about the excessive amperage line, the dc powers were a lil expensive for me but If the performance was there I would have went with it just would be waiting a little longer and been a little lighter in the wallet for it Kenwood excelon ddx795 3 370 amp CES alternators (audio side only) McLaren dome tweeters Crescendo 6.5 ultra neos NVX JAD800.4 4 PA x4 SPL 18's 4 Digital Designs m5's at .7 ohms each 2 K2 80 ah lithiums 3 group 31 agms Ledglow million color (12 piece) 2007 Yukon xl

Lbox88
I'd get updated idle and full output numbers from all the others before I made a decision. That DC Power chart is over 4 years old, kind of outdated info at this point. UBL | Build Log

Broke_Audio_Addict
Just out of my own curiosity how much did they quote you? since you said it's cheaper than the other alts you listed prices for. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. RainStryke
Looks like you would want to go with a DC Power alternator from what you've found. Not that the 300A is going to perform the same as the 275A at idle... In some cases you actually lose idle amperage with a alternator rated at higher amps. You still didn't get an answer for your question.
