Austin42156
I have heard that a round perfect circle speaker will sound better compared to an oval or a square sized speaker because it can produce sound waves more accurately. I was also told that a 6.5 inch is the perfect mid range speaker, because it is round, isn't too large, but isn't too small. Does the shape of the speaker really matter when it comes to the sound of the speaker? Would a 5 inch speaker sound better compared to a 6.5 or would a 4x10 blow them all out of the water. What do you think when it comes to speaker size and shape? Broke_Audio_Addict
Is this a joke? That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. TRON
Well, the only thing I will say is that round is always better than square; it's easier to move. The problem is, you can't compare drivers just by sitting them on the table and looking at them. You need to put them in an proper enclosure, power them with a good amplifier, and have a good controlled listening environment. There is so much more that goes into audio than just the speakers.
