2 12s is more cone area than 1 15. 3" coils more efficient than a 4" also. One team sub is cool but 2 zv4s isn't exactly super usual either

how did you figure a 3 inch coil is more efficient than a 4 inch coil?
Less moving mass

an 18 has more moving mass than a 10.. why does an 18 sound louder?

i know why.. just asking since you say less moving mass is more efficient. 18 has more mass than a 10

I've just always had the impression that 4" coils advantages don't normally become apparent until they are able to thermally handle more power than their counterpart 3" coils. I could be wrong too but that's just what I've always thought

2 12'' z's, hoa and a 3100 or 3400 under the hood (the biggest that will fit), and one 3100 as bank (or two to be upper safe). :drink40:

This is going in a Nissan Cube. Weight is gonna play a factor with batteries going with 2 team 12s. I figure with 5k I'm gonna need 3 3100s so I'd basically be doubling my weight going that route

Im sure someone makes upgraded shocks.

Still learning but have started gathering.

there are some advantages to having a 3 inch coil instead of a 4 inch coil

I talked to sundown and they said there "opinion" is 2 zv4 over the sound of 1 team. So I'm shooting for 2 zv4 12.. Don't have the proper airspace for anything bigger unless I c-pillar wall my cube... Would love to do 2 15s but at 4.25 cuft a piece id have to wall it.

Right now my max is 40W x 31H x 18D
