dylan117 Posted November 24, 2014 Report Share Posted November 24, 2014 so im running a 6th order with (2) DC XL M2 18's and its a 1:3 ratio, it sounds good and the rear chamber is tuned at 26hz at 12 cubes. The front is around 37 cubes tuned at 47-48hz and I have one question, it hits lows like a champ, I can easily play below 20hz. BUT it seems like there isn't any SPL really. but there is one catch, I only have (1) AQ2200 at .7ohms on decent electrical, so each sub is seeing about 800-900rms or so, but it does seem as if they create the high notes, but they aren't loud. does this sound like a tuning or power issue? or could it be something else? any input will be greatly appreciated! DylanBunch Posted November 25, 2014 Report Share Posted November 25, 2014 I have a 3:1 6th with 2 15s and our tunings are very close, except you're higher in the front chamber by 3-5hz. I'm loudest In the 30s and it starts rolling off at the low 40s and by 50hz it's just not loud.
