Guest
So I have a hammer crimp. And I also have a blow torch for soldering. I know most people solder their wires for the best connection possible. I was wondering if I crimped my zero gauge wire first then soldered it, if that would make an even better connection. True? overkill? Let me know what you think!

Broke_Audio_Addict
If it's properly crimped you shouldn't be able to solder it. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Guest
So do not crimp at all then? Just solder?
Broke_Audio_Addict
Solder needs to be done properly as well and either crimp or solder works if done PROPERLY. Jessica
It depends in the terminal. If you have the ones with the split in them solder it. If it solid crimp or solder it. True, didn't even think to ask what style terminals.
