whats the point in doing a test at .5 ohm.. chances of amp ever seeing that load are very slim.maybe if you wire to .25 or .125 . the numbers you should be worried about are 2 ohm 4 ohm and 6 ohm. 1 ohm if you compete... who cares if it does a gazillion watts at .5 if you will never ever see that. you will see smoke before the amp sees .5 after rise

but but but if you wire the amp at 1 ohm, that means it plays at 1 ohm and you get all that claimed power at 1 ohm....

there is no such thing as impedance errr box rise because they used ratchet straps to hold the box down........

which makes me wonder.

if square woofers put out square waves, does that mean rectangular amplifiers put out rectangular waves?

is the only way to get round unclipped waves to use a round woofer and round amplifiers?

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
