Skullz
The thing people don't consider is that you can get full copper wire for the same or less than CCA which is inferior to OFC. So why would you spend your hard earned cash on something inferior? 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
Popwarhomie
Show me where you can get 1/0 100% OFC for $1.99 a foot. That is rated for more than 250amps at a 20' run. I have 2 runs of CCA. Cost me $80 for 40'. Good for 500 amps. OFC is $80 for 20' and can handle 375 amps at 20'. 2010 Focus coupe- 8 12" wall. 157.5@46hz 2016 Focus ST - SQ build. And according to the chart I just saw that 1/0 wire can hold 350 amps for 100ft, ummm no. I think you looked at their chart wrong. 1/0 can handle up to 350amps for 50feet, 100feet is only 200 amps. If you want 350amps at 100feet you need to get the 4/0. Its also worth mentioning that the cable is currently on sale, and to get it at $1.85 per foot you need to order 250-499 feet of it which is $462.50 - $923.15 worth of cable. At this point that is more cable than the average person is going to want to spend and way more wire than the average person will use in their vehicle. walwalka
Welding supply.com is a pretty good place for welding wire, I bought about 50ft of 2/0 a year or so back for my welder. Quick shipping and good packaging. I like the ultra flex wire they carry, I can't remember the exact brand of wire it is off the top of my head. I used a piece of the 2/0 in my car a a ground, as I ran out of AT OFC in the middle of my build. I personally run all knukonceptz now, but welding wire is not a bad choice for better value. From welding supply you can get 25' of 2/0 for $3.44 a foot after shipping, which is pretty good, and it only gets cheaper the more you buy. 2010 Honda Civic LX / Deck: Kenwood DDX371 / Front Highs: Crescendo RTS-1 / Front Mids: Silver Flute 6.5's / 4 channel: DC Audio 90.4 / Sub: Fi 15in SP4v2 / Sub amp: Taramps HD 5000 / Power wire: Knukonceptz OFC 1/0 / Deadener: Audio Technix 60 mil / Batteries: XS Power D5100R / Rear bank: TBD / Alternator: Singer 240a hairpin
