I've built a .6 slot vented enclosure tuned to 33 hz after finding a design made using Torres and it fits the available space perfectly (in the back of a 1967 VW Notchback) and currently im using an 8" Kicker Impulse on about 250 watts rms and i'm pleasantly surprised with the lows it achieves but as always i'm looking for something more capable. theres no way my budget can stretch to a Sundown or a JL 8W7 but what would you guys recommend as an affordable upgrade that would work well in this enclosure? For the record i listen to all sorts from Drum n Bass / RnB , old skool Hip Hop and decafe when i want to drop and draw a crowd when the cars on display at classic VW festivals (the purists love it ) The Ride The Space available (remembering theres an engine below the trunk floor) and speakers in the shelf above each side. heres the exact enclosure Any advice would be greatly appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

JBLs for around £50 (GTO804) ...
