MASTER T KILLA
But if they are wire to one ohm and pray that ride gets you to two or more so it doesn't blow you're basically at the mercy of uncertainty you dont need to be at 2 ohms with a 1 ohm version or 3 or 4 with the 2 ohm versions its more of a mater of just dont have it at a solid 1 ohm I.E. dont wire to .5 and end up with rise only going to .8 or .9 or something granted people with alot of box rise still do. wire at 1 and your box rise will keep the amp more then happy. 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis LS (CVB 25th Chapter) Alpine Head Unit stock 6x9's Powerbass ASA 1500.1Dx FC 1200 krank-it up battery HC 800 Kinetik battery Orion HCCA 12.4 in slot ported box wired down to 2 ohms Audiopipe 1/0 gauge wire Rockford fosgate ring terminals Subscribe to the Youtube page http://www.youtube.com/user/TManMusicPage

MASTER T KILLA
this really wouldnt even be an issue if people didnt want a 7K watt amp for $350- but keep buying this cheap crap and asking what did I do wrong... answer is you bought a cheap p.o.s. amp- Craig Butler has broken records with his old banda setup and continues to use Brazilian amps, heck his original Banda 10 or 20k cant remember which is still in working order today. Seems pretty cheap to me to keep an amp around for so many years. 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis LS (CVB 25th Chapter) Alpine Head Unit stock 6x9's Powerbass ASA 1500.1Dx FC 1200 krank-it up battery HC 800 Kinetik battery Orion HCCA 12.4 in slot ported box wired down to 2 ohms Audiopipe 1/0 gauge wire Rockford fosgate ring terminals Subscribe to the Youtube page http://www.youtube.com/user/TManMusicPage

hondakid1996
My understanding is that the Brazilian amps have much higher rail voltage, or have a voltage boost on the input section of some sort. I'm no electrician so I don't know how they do it, but with 12 volts of input the amp boosts it up to 36 or 48 volts. Also, I think what people are trying to say about the ohm load is, if the amp says 1 ohm stable that's all it can do. It's not like a Korean amp that although only rated for 1 ohm, you can wire much lower with supporting electrical.

corrie32
The same can be said with our koreans, you have to wire lower to get rated 1ohm watts. ALPINE408
I ran my Brazilian amps at .7 daily..... They are 1 ohm amps that can do 1 ohm all day I even ran the Brazilian amps at .5 ohms for comp only with bass race and parking and pound.... To say a company rates there amps at 1 ohm and relies on box rise so the amp does not blow is the funniest shit I have read in a long time Have you ever had your woofers blown?
