80PRS Advanced video tutorial

Good educational video. I wish I had tried finding it before, but i definitely enjoyed figuring all of that out on my own the last couple months. He says "filder" instead of "filter"... Bugged the fuck out of me.

Just watched this. I have heard people talk about this but I didn't realize just how powerful this thing is. Now I have to get one. Does anybody use the auto eq feature. Does it really work?

auto EQ and TA is alright, but it's just a stepping stone to getting you in the right place in my opinion. you still need to fine tune it to your personal preference. and also, when running the auto EQ, disconnect subs.

I love having the ability to make any change I want at my fingertips without connecting a laptop to a DSP.

i was not impressed with the auto EQ, but i had a wall so it lost its mind trying to figure it out even with the remote gain turned down.

with the T/A i would use the left front tweeter as a 0" mark and then set the speakers from there based on the difference in distance.
