Ahhhh, its been awhile. Im having some problems here...

I had everything hooked up right, and my BTL would play...

I played it for about 5 mins, and the BTL just completely stopped. It wont do anything at all.

My amp isnt in protection. Everything else works fine besides my sub.

I know im not over powering it, im using a Hifoncis Bxi2607d.

Then, i hooked up my old SPL 15's to the hifonics amp. They did the exact same thing. They were very loud there for about 5 mins, then the subs just shut off.

Im getting about 14-16 volts. I have 2 Optima batts, and 230 amp alt, 0 gauge, big 3, all that good stuff.

I also hooked up 2 old 12" SPL subs... and they did the exact same thing.... They stopped playing when hooked up to the Hifonics amp.

But for some reason when i hook up the 12's to my very old 600w SPL multi channel amp, they work....

I tried hooking up the 18 and 15's to different amps, and they will not work.

I need some major advice here.

How do you have the subs wired, including the 18, pair of 15's and the pair of 12's? It could be a wiring issue with the subs going to that Hifonics amp.

Okay, maybe its not a problem with the subs. Could be the amp. If it is the amp, this will be the 3rd time that ive had to send it back.

Whats a good way to check to see if my amp is bad?
