juan777
I see a few shops offering "free" Termlab testing etc in the Houston area. Before I had my TLM I would head out and ask for a free meter and I would get a couple responses: "Free" testing is only for customers. "It is free but we are slammed right now come back later" and "Sure" but they only test for your peak and that's it, very quick and dirty. This is understandable since a business can't survive on free work. Since I now have a brand new and fully functional Termlab Magnum in my possession, I am testing the waters to see if anyone in the Houston area would be interested in getting their ride metered in a very detailed manner (Help you find peak, Sealed, Windows Down, Kick, On music, tips to make it louder etc...) for a fee. The fee is to be determined later but it would be reasonable and for a serious competitor well worth it before getting in the lanes knowing where you stand. Thoughts? Anyone interested? CommGuru
I think this would be a pretty slick service. Especially if you have time to drive to your customers. One question I would have is how would 'certified' work. Is there some certification from TL or whomever that would be needed to make this score legit? juan777
I think this would be a pretty slick service. Especially if you have time to drive to your customers. One question I would have is how would 'certified' work. Is there some certification from TL or whomever that would be needed to make this score legit? Well I wouldn't be driving to customer's houses, There is an awesome demo spot by my cousin's shop Lone Star Auto Works, Parker@45, we have tested the L@zy Hoe there for upwards of an hour before and we've never gotten cops called on us. And she does 157dB+ so its safe to say we are not bothering anyone. As for the "certified" thing, this is strictly for testing purposes, only an organization like USACi here in TX could legitimize your score, you would be paying for me to bring my equipment and assist you in finding out where you are at. This is very helpful since most people have to find their peak in the lanes. Testing prior to it assures you can come into the lanes already aware of your peak, meaning you can save your subs and possibly score higher since they are cool from the get-go as opposed to burping them 4-5 times before finding your peak The L@zy Hoe 2005 Chevy Tahoe 2,500 Watts of Highs/Mids 4 10 midrange 4 6.5 midwoofers 4 Tweeters 6 Supertweeters 2 Lithium 80AH Batteries 24K Watts 4 Custom 18s Quad alt setup Rebuilt 250amp and 3 370s Interior work by Lone Star Auto Works The Build Log Like Loud Bass?
