14dbass
So I "Sound deadened" the doors and the roof in front of the B pillar. I will post pics soon... But I will tell you this, the windows still roll down and the factory headliner is up basically a factory look in front of the box... It is really strong. I mean it is not 4 inches of wood like the roof behind the B Pillar, but it defiantly won't be moving a lot. I post a vid of that soon too... but this is a short review of the Sound deadener. 14dbass
another video... Pics tonight... https://youtu.be/xYuLy5qGdF4 Ok, never mind here are some pics now... So I decided it would be annoying if the door striker ripped out of the B pillar... So I fixed it I glued that in place with some fancy blue glue so it will never move... will see how that holds.... 14dbass
Ok, so I only had to pull this piece of wood out, sand it, and put it back in about 27 times. Much much later I now have it right size and fitting good This is "about" where the baffle will go.... Also it is worth noting that I do not have a table saw to make cuts with. Every cut in this build has been free handed with with a cheap circular saw or a jig saw. And the back of it It was a lot of work to get it to this point Then came the fun part putting it in the copier and pressing print Making more copies By the way I have to say a router with a flush trim bit is the single most important part of this build... It is by far the coolest thing I have seen... The guy who invented this needs a raise. I mean if you don't have one you need to borrow one from a friend then miss place it. And on that note... I lost yours Kyle... I think an angry beaver took it. This should make a good baffle... Maybe I will add another sheet... It's getting closer... tell next time Suburban Build Log "So much money and time spent making copper winding move up and down a magnetic pole" DC Audio Eclipse
