Also to the people who will assume, ahh he's a shit head doing wheelies down the freeway.

Would only assume this if you had a giant gear out back :good:

What all does it do?

I don't know shit about bikes...

Its a big bore kit. So the bike is probably at 883cc and there are two models the 883 and the 1200. Well NRHS and other companies give you a piston/cylinder kit that is over-bored to 1250ccs which is the biggest you can get without boring the bottom case of the motor out. Also they recommend swapping in a high lift camshaft and you probably would have to get adjustable pushrods.

Also they have a head porting service as well which will give you the biggest increase in power. The 1250 kits with the right supporting mods you are looking at 2-3K$ and you would have a 90-100hp motor. If you go on the NRHS website they have the dyno sheets.

Right now the stock 883 is probably at like 45hp.

Sport bikes are fun as hell, don't get me wrong, but I like to be able to ride longer than an hour on normal roads without my body going numb.

That depends a lot on how you ride the bike though. I did plenty of 500+mile ride days on my ZX9 which included highway and backroads. I'm switching to a Sport touring now for added storage and distance between fill ups. I'm also the kind of guy that rides the shit out of my bike, put over 15k on my ZX9 within the first year of owning it and riding it in 20 degree weather as well. I just love to ride.

New to the car audio world and looking to learn as much as I can.

Damn dude that is so awesome. Love those storage options for the street bike. I have always wanted a street legal dirt bike, just go riding in the forest on the way home from work lmao.
