Loudest/Best Sub that will handle around 900-1200 watts rms?

Recommended Posts

Like the title says looking for recommendations for the loudest sub/subs to buy to run off of my hifonics brz1200.1 amp that is stable @ 900 watts rms @ 2 ohms or 1200 rms @ 1 ohm. All help is much needed and appreciated. Just want the best bang product for buck. Thanks.

I would recommend finding out how.much space you have to work with, and make yourself a list of subs that fit the available power and space well, then do a little research. There is no one definitive answer for your question.

You want the best and you want the most bang for your buck.

Those are both subjective and no one will be able to give an answer that they will know is what you are looking for.

Krakin's Home Dipole Project

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.
